This new management opportunity
at Vermont Federal Credit Union promotes small business development
through cold and referral calling, member inquiries and direct
marketing. Also cross sells other business products such as
deposits, merchant services, payroll services, remote deposit
capture, etc. This position is responsible for the completion of
preliminary analysis and execution of loan request according to
applicable underwriting guidelines. Conducts and coordinates loan
closings. Attends industry and community events on behalf of the
Credit Union and conducts annual seminars and speeches for business
groups.
Job Requirements: Five years to ten years of similar or
related experience. Must have a strong knowledge of business loan
and deposit products. Strong sales skills. Proficiency with
Microsoft Word, Excel, and Outlook. Credit analysis skills a plus.
Must be able to drive self to and from appointments. Must at times
be available evening and weekends. Small Business Administration
experience preferred.
Education Requirements: A four year college degree.

Internal Auditor -
Vermont State Employees Credit Union (1/7)
The Internal
Auditor position is responsible for the planning, organizing and
directing the internal audit function of the VSECU. The individual
will be responsible for ensuring compliance with policies, laws and
regulations, as well as identifying and analyzing all major risks,
coordinating internal audit activities, conducting reviews and
providing constructive feedback on findings.
The successful candidate
will have a strong knowledge of audit procedures and accounting
systems and will maintain current knowledge of audit legislation,
techniques and practices as they relate to the credit union. A
Bachelor’s degree in a related field and CPA, CIA or CFE
designation, plus five years of combined audit and operations
experience within a financial institution are required.
