Senior Vice President / Chief Financial Officer - Maine
State Credit Union (2/2)
Maine
State Credit Union, with over $325 million in assets, is seeking a
seasoned senior executive to join their leadership team as Senior
Vice President/Chief Financial Officer. MSCU is a values based
dynamic organization looking for a leader with a passion for

strong team of dedicated leaders. This position is charged with
directing the financial affairs of the credit union, establishing
economic and financial objectives and policies.
The
position requires extensive knowledge and understanding of the risk
management practices for financial institutions and the ability to
oversee the credit union’s asset-liability strategies, cash
management, investment functions, accounting, budgeting,
forecasting, financial reporting, product pricing/cost accounting
models and regulatory compliance. MSCU is looking for an individual
who possesses not only organizational and technical skills, but also
highly developed interpersonal skills and demonstrated leadership
ability within a collaborative team environment.

-10 years experience in a credit union or bank in the areas of
finance, accounting, and investment portfolio management,
demonstrating progressive experience at a senior level, is required.
Experience in information technology and small business banking are
a plus.

Branch Operations Manager -
Vermont Federal Credit Union (12/9)
This newly created position will oversee the daily member service
and deposit operations of the seven branch network and member call
center. Some of the primary responsibilities will include ensuring
that member satisfaction goals are met or exceeded, participating
with the establishment and the achievement of production and
performance goals, and to develop business within the markets that
the Credit Union serves. The position will also contribute towards
team effectiveness and facilitate engagement, growth and problem
solving of all direct report areas.
This position is also responsible for assisting the managers to
achieve organizational sales goals affecting branch offices and the
member call center; participate in development and implementation of
organizational strategic plans; insure the organization is in
compliance with all policies, procedures, and regulations affecting
the branch offices and member call center areas. Additional
responsibilities are to participate in leadership initiatives and
goals as member of the Management Team.
A college degree, five years of similar or related experience
including supervisory experience, lending, and a successful track
record in a consultative sales environment is required. Some local
travel will be required as part of the position

relationship building; coordinates and directs operations and staff
to insure efficient and effective management within the office and
to provide excellent service to members. A Bachelor’s degree

institution with management experience desirable, or a comparable

Provides member
service by greeting the members and directing and assisting them
with financial transactions by using the Personal Teller Machine,
opening new accounts, originating and closing consumer loans.
Banking experience preferred, but not required.
Mortgage Originator (Brattleboro) - Vermont State Employees
Credit Union (10/21)
Originates
residential mortgages and home equity loans from application to
underwriting. Proactively cultivates business relationships with
realtors and other centers of influence. Works closely with the
mortgage processors and other home office personnel. A Bachelor’s
degree or equivalent work experience with 2-3 years of mortgage
origination experience is required. A thorough knowledge of
secondary market loan requirements is desired.
Business Lender (Brattleboro) - Vermont State Employees Credit
Union (10/21)
Develops business
relationship within the credit union field of membership by
originating, underwriting and executing business loans. Responsible
for introducing and cross selling deposit accounts, credit cards and
other business services to meet the full range of financial service
needs for the business member. A Bachelor’s degree in Business or
related field preferred with 4-6 years experience in a financial
institution, preferably in business lending or other comparable
combination of education and experience.
