Consumer Loan Officer - Vermont Federal Credit Union (4/17)
Vermont Federal Credit Union is searching for a Consumer Loan Officer based out of the Milton Branch. Responsibilities include interviewing member loan applicants to develop information concerning their loan needs, earnings, and financial condition. Explains loan programs to members, evaluates their needs and recommends loan options. Keeps member informed of status of loan. Follows current loans to ensure compliance with terms and coordinates with collections when appropriate and keeps informed of current trends in consumer credit.  This candidate will analyze current financial position of members to determine the degree of risk involved in extending credit or lending money.  Makes decision to approve, disapprove, or forward the loan request to higher levels for decision. Prepare and/or review and disburse all loans, checks documents for completeness, accuracy and overall quality. In addition, assisting members with opening and closing accounts, answering questions about products and services, and resolving problems that are within their authority.  Recommends other Credit Union products and services as appropriate.

Marketing & Information Services Specialist (New position) - White River CU (4/3)
Position Purpose

Marketing:

  • Assists in the development and implementation of WRCU’s marketing plans and budgets
  • Research marketing needs and analyze marketing trends for WRCU to ensure the Credit Union is positioned competitively
  • Develops and oversees promotions including advertising, public relations, and promotional campaigns
  • Ensures professional business relations exist with credit union members and that their needs are met through member surveys and interactions
  • Compliance with relation to Marketing functions
Information Services:
  • Responsible for overseeing the functionality available to members via the WRCU web site
  • Keeps abreast of Mobile banking interfaces to ensure that WRCU is positioned competitively
  • Manages the Credit Union software relationship, plans for upgrades, added functionality
  • Manages the vendor relationship responsible for network and infrastructure
  • Compliance with relation to Information Services functions
Education, Knowledge, Experience, Skills and Abilities:
  • Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Marketing or Information Systems or equivalent experience and training
  • Demonstrated understanding of e-marketing concepts and applications
  • Experience serving within a financial institution a plus
  • Experience working with various social medial programs (Facebook, Twitter, etc.) required
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills. Excellent phone skills/etiquette and the ability to communicate clearly and effectively in writing and over the phone
  • Excellent computer knowledge and experience with Microsoft Office products required

Custodial Services Technician - Heritage Family Credit Union (3/27)
Heritage Family Credit Union has a full time opening for a Custodial Services Technician. This is a 2nd shift position working approximately 2:30pm-11:00pm. This position is responsible for cleaning and maintaining credit union buildings, equipment, fixtures, furnishings and grounds. It also performs routine maintenance including vacuuming, sweeping and mopping floors, dusting, washing walls, doors and windows, and emptying garbage/recycling. A successful candidate will be detail oriented, able to multi-task and able to use basic cleaning tools. Prior cleaning/janitorial experience helpful.

Loan Officer - Members 1st Credit Union (2/17)
Members 1st Credit Union in Brattleboro, VT is looking for a consumer and mortgage loan officer. Basic qualifications required for this position include a high school diploma or GED plus two (2) years experience in real estate or mortgage loan origination and closing. NMLS registered or licensing is required. A working knowledge of personal computers and lending systems is also required. Training Analyst / Facilitator - New England Federal Credit Union (2/17)
The NEFCU Training Analyst/Facilitator develops training programs by designing curriculum including clear, measureable learning objectives and course content which meets identified training goals set by management. The TA/F recommends appropriate methodology for training, obtains and maintains a database of appropriate knowledge experts, resources, and instructional materials to facilitate training initiatives and programs. The TA/F provides administrative support for training including oversight of training facilities, schedules, training records, student and program evaluation. This position is the primary relationship manager and knowledge expert on adult learning theory and applications for the Credit Union, including NEFCU’s on-line training software and is liaison with our BVS Performance Systems software account relationship manager and support staff. The successful candidate will be able to work at a faster than average pace, be a comfortable, confident relationship builder, and be attentive to details.

Qualifications include: Minimum 2 years course and curriculum development; Training software competency and strong Microsoft Office applications experience including Excel and Power Point; and a minimum BA with curriculum / training / instruction experience with adult learners. This is a full time Exempt position reporting to the Senior HR/OD Executive. This is an excellent opportunity for an educator wishing to work in the private sector. While not a Trainer per se, the TA/F may teach certain curricular areas of personal expertise.

Marketing Manager - One Credit Union (2/11)
Position Purpose
  • Responsible for development, implementation and maintenance of the Credit Union’s strategic marketing plans and budgets consistent with and supportive of the Company’s annual business plans
  • Research marketing needs and analyze marketing trends for the Credit Union to ensure the Credit Union is positioned competitively.
  • Develops and oversees promotions including advertising, public relations, and promotional campaigns.
  • Ensures professional business relations exist with customers and that their needs are met.
  • Provide oversight, direction, evaluation, and management to subordinates and/or vendors involved in the marketing and public relations campaigns.
Duties and Responsibilities
  • Develop the strategic marketing plan and present to the CEO and /or Board of Directors.
  • Prepare, implement, and supervise the budget for the overall strategic plan and budget of the credit union.
  • Envision creative marketing and public relations concepts
  • Design, develop and implement marketing and public relations programs for the credit union
  • Track and evaluate results of programs
  • Update or change as appropriate to ensure effectiveness
  • Analyze market trends and demographic data concerning members and potential members, products and services, and potential products and services
  • Keep abreast of changing trends in the marketplace so that the credit union may react quickly and competitively
  • Research and recommend product or service enhancements to provide quality member service and to meet the financial needs of members
  • Create and/or review letters, direct mail, press releases, collateral materials, forms, etc.
  • May manage an outside advertising or marketing vendor design, content or delivery of marketing materials, marketing promotions or media campaigns
  • Evaluate vendors to partner with the credit union
  • Recommend new services and changes in existing services to meet the financial needs of members
  • Ensure that all marketing and public relations materials comply with State and Federal rules and regulations for the credit union
  • Keep abreast in changing rules and regulations
  • Develop, apply and evaluate policies and procedures for the department
Knowledge, Skills and Abilities
EDUCATION/CERTIFICATION: Bachelor’s degree in related field or equivalent experience and training

REQUIRED KNOWLEDGE: Thorough understanding of credit union products, services, and competitors’ product lines is desirable. Strong knowledge of promotion techniques, pricing policies, distribution channels, and public relations. Demonstrated understanding of e-marketing concepts and applications.

EXPERIENCE REQUIRED: 3-5 years of related progressive experience.

SKILLS/ABILITIES: Excellent communication, interpersonal, and supervisory abilities. Strong project management skills. Solid leadership abilities. Organizational and analytical skills. Web site and digital marketing experience, tech savvy. Strong skills in editing, proofing, writing and design. Ability to think outside of the box and drive change. Wages commensurate with experience.
