Collections Specialist - NorthCountry Federal Credit Union (8/15)
We only make loans that we believe can be repaid.  However, life events can sometimes make it difficult for a borrower to keep up with their payments.  That is where the Collections Specialist steps in.  With confidence, creativity, and caring, this employee works to get members back on track in a way that meets the credit unions and members needs. 

Job Requirements: A college degree or equivalent. One to three years similar or related experience.  Courtesy, tact and diplomacy are essential elements of the job.  Work involves personal contact with others, generally involving personal and confidential information.   Good computer skills and attention to detail are necessary for this position. Must be able to work independently.

Call Center Representative (South Burlington) - Vermont Federal Credit Union (8/8)
Vermont Federal Credit Union is searching for a a Call Center Representative based out of the South Burlington Branch. Responsibilities include assisting members and potential members with their telephone, on-line and e-mail requests. In addition, answer questions about products and services and resolving problems that are within their authority to resolve. Problems that are beyond their authority are communicated to the supervisor, along with their recommendations. This person cross‑sells opportunities and services to members, they also maintain member account information on the computer system and ensures that appropriate records are maintained and required reports are prepared. The candidate assists other departments as needed. 

Requirements:  A two year college degree and one to three years of similar or related experience.  Experience in a financial institution preferred.

Consumer Loan Call Center Officer (Burlington) - Vermont Federal Credit Union (8/8)
Vermont Federal Credit Union is searching for a Consumer Loan Officer based out of the Burlington Loan Call Center.  The ideal candidate is able to work in a fast paced environment and has the ability to multi-task.  Responsibilities include interviewing member loan applicants over the phone and via web applications to develop information concerning their loan needs, earnings, and financial condition. Explains loan programs to members, evaluates their needs and recommends loan options. Keeps member informed of status of loan. Follows current loans to ensure compliance with terms and coordinates with collections when appropriate and keeps informed of current trends in consumer credit.  This candidate will analyze current financial position of members to determine the degree of risk involved in extending credit or lending money.  Makes decision to approve, disapprove, or forward the loan request to higher levels for decision.  In addition, Prepare and/or review and disburse all loans, checks documents for completeness, accuracy and overall quality. Recommends other Credit Union products and services as appropriate.

Data Analytics Generalist - Vermont Federal Credit Union (7/17)
Vermont Federal Credit Union is searching for a full-time Data Analytics Generalist for our Burlington location. This newly created position will act as the lead for our Customer Relationship Manager System, CView.  The candidate will utilize CView to create queries, reports, charts and graphs in response to management requests for member, product and profitability information.  This position will work with the Financial Analyst to provide data for modeling budgets, "what if" scenarios, interest rate calculations and compile CRM data for analyses requested by ALCO.  This position is also responsible for working with the Marketing Department to analyze market trend and demographic data concerning current and potential members for use in advertising and marketing campaigns. The candidate will convey timely and accurate data to Management that will assist with identifying opportunities and trends, offer insights into member behavior, and provide context and support for strategic initiatives.

Requirements:  One year to three years of similar or related experience.  A college degree in Finance, Economics or Accounting preferred.  A significant level of trust and diplomacy is required in addition to courtesy and tact.

Head Teller (Milton) - Vermont Federal Credit Union (7/17)
Vermont Federal Credit Union is searching for a Head Teller for our Milton location.  The primary responsibility is to ensure the delivery of outstanding service to those members who use the Milton branch office teller services.  This is accomplished by developing teller line schedules along with directing, coaching and monitoring the daily activities of tellers in collaboration with the Branch Manager.  Responsible for the teller line operation within the branch environment and works with the Branch Manager on areas of teller staff development and performance coaching, to ensure smooth branch operations. This position conducts teller staff meetings to keep direct reports informed of policy or procedure changes. Responsible for daily cash requirements for the branch and manages vault and ATM cash at the branch to maintain established cash levels.  The Head Teller is also expected to understand all of the Credit Union deposit products and services so they can be a resource for not only the membership, but for the teller line staff.  In addition, this person is responsible for ongoing coaching of teller staff in keeping with our sales and service program and organizational sales and service goals and monitors department activities for compliance with established policy and regulations.
