Marketing Communications Coordinator - Vermont Federal Credit Union (5/6)

Job Description: This position will assist in advertising and sales promotions as well as oversight of marketing communication vehicles, our intranet, maintaining the web site and will be responsible for the organization’s SEO and Google AdWords efforts . Branch Manager (Burlington) - Vermont Federal Credit Union (4/22)

Job Description: This candidate will be responsible for administering all daily operations of assigned branch office in Burlington, which includes supervising, scheduling, coaching, recruitment, and administering performance evaluations for branch staff. Chief Operating Officer - Arkansas Federal Credit Union (4/22)

The Call Center Manager is responsible for ensuring VSECU members are provided exceptional service by leading a team of consultants who handle calls from new and existing members regarding a wide variety of requests, questions, transactions, research and troubleshooting. Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Works one on one with consultants to develop meaningful career progression plans to support their desired growth within the unit and/or within VSECU.
  • Conducts performance reviews to ensure consultants s continuously develop professionally and are positioned to make contributions to the unit and VSECU as a whole.
  • Handles escalated member issues and/or complex member situations.
  • Actively encourages relationship building with members to identify opportunities for the cross-selling of deposit related products and self-service tools and to generate referrals for the Contact Center Sales Unit.
  • Works with our vendors to actively improve on and further enhance the relationship with these vendors.

  • Monitors, evaluates, and ensures department budget is met.
  • Ensures that consultants comply with company policies and procedures, applicable laws and regulations including but limited to NCUA, Bank Secrecy Act, the Patriots Act and the Office of Foreign Assets.
  • Performs special projects and assignments related to new products and other VSECU activities; continuously seeks and implements improved methods of service, delivery and efficiency.
  • Stays abreast of VSECU developments, changes, implementation and activities, as well as new information and changes within the industry.

Education/Knowledge and Experience:
  • Bachelor’s degree preferred with five years of experience working in a financial institution or a call center with management experience, or a comparable combination of education and experience.
  • Supervisory and management skills or training.
  • Proven excellent customer service skills and comprehensive understanding of the credit union mission and philosophy and member service functions.
  • Excellent computer skills, including Microsoft products and ability to prepare reports and spreadsheets.
Working Conditions - This position requires sitting for long periods of time. Daily assignments require working at a desk and handling phone calls from members. Duties require extensive use of a computer performing standard keyboard functions, requiring repeat motion. Regular stretching breaks are required to avoid injury.

Data Processing Manager - VSECU (3/4)

The Data Processing Manager is responsible for the planning, coordination, and supervision of all support functions pertaining to processing of ACH/EFT, in clearing, payroll transactions/exceptions, ancillary check batches, card related activity and is responsible for managing and maintaining the integrity of mainframe information by making sure that the transaction reports and the daily processes and tasks are completed in a timely manner with no errors or exceptions.

Duties and Responsibilities:
  • Manages and oversees the ACH/EFT exception processing, including: ACH Origination, Online Banking batch files, ACH disputes, and reclamations.
  • Oversees the In clearing exception processing, including: processing of adjustments, return deposit checks, and check related disputes.
  • Manages variety of tasks to provide administrative support for the card portfolio programs.
  • Manages the IRA and tax reporting functions and processes.
  • Manages and maintains the integrity of the mainframe information to provide accurate, consistent, timely processing, reporting, and archiving of daily transactions.
  • Oversee outgoing and incoming domestic or international wires to also include business wires processed thru Online Banking.
  • Oversees the performance of weekly, monthly, quarterly and year-end processing of designated job, files, and reports.
  • Maintains an essential data report schedule to ensure processing of the daily information is done timely and the information is accurate.
  • Establishes monitoring protocols to ensure that tasks are completed and data processing is verified.
  • Recommends software applications that will provide automation of manual tasks within the department.
  • Understands compliance regulations applying to ACH, EFT, Reg E, Reg CC and Reg D and that staff are trained and understand the regulations and credit union practices relating to these regulations.
  • Manages and conducts employee’s performance reviews to ensure that the employees develop professionally and they are positioned to make contributions to the department and VSECU.
  • Perform other duties as assigned to meet departmental objectives.
Education/Knowledge and Experience:
  • Associates degree in computer technology, data management, or business desirable with one to three year’s experience in data processing, operations, or a comparable combination of education and experience.
  • Knowledge of software and hardware for personal computers, mainframe, and local and wide area networks.
  • Knowledge of the ACH (Automated Clearing House) programs, regulations and practices within a financial institution.
  • Knowledge of ACH, Inclearing, and exceptional payroll processing, is required.
  • Good knowledge of credit union products and services.
  • Good knowledge and experience with Microsoft Office Products and financial institutions account servicing computer systems.
