Marketing Assistant - Vermont Federal Credit Union (4/9)
Vermont Federal Credit Union is searching for a Marketing Assistant based out of the South Burlington office.  Responsibilities include assisting the marketing department with all internal and external marketing communications and projects and providing administrative support to the marketing team.   Also, to provide administrative/clerical support to the operations of the marketing department including invoice tracking, copying, record keeping, mail sorting/distribution and correspondence, direct mail and surveys.  The candidate will support marketing activities/events including seminars, community involvement, scholarships, and branch-specific promotions.  The candidate also maintains inventory and distributes supply of branch marketing materials and updates the marketing/promotional calendar on the portal by coordinating between members of the marketing team.  In addition, performs special projects as assigned.

Branch Manager (Middlebury) - Vermont Federal Credit Union (4/9)
This candidate will be responsible for administering all daily operations of assigned branch office(s) in Middlebury and Vergennes, which includes supervising, scheduling, coaching, recruitment, and administering performance evaluations for branch staff. In addition, this candidate will promote and model consultative sales and service culture and is responsible for meeting or exceeding assigned branch deposit and loan goals. As well as ensuring that established policies and procedures are consistently followed and that, members and prospective members are promptly and professionally served. The qualified individual will also be held accountable for ensuring that branch staff successfully build and maintain member relationships by actively uncovering members’ financial needs and offering solutions to meet those needs. This candidate must be able to handle all functions of the branch office. Lastly, involvement in the community in which the branch office is located is required.

Job Requirements: A college degree and two to five years of similar or related experience. A significant level of trust and diplomacy is required, in addition to normal courtesy and tact. Work involves extensive personal contact with others and/or is usually of a personal or sensitive nature. This work may also involve motivating or influencing others. Outside contacts become important and fostering sound relationships with other entities (companies and/or individuals) becomes necessary. Additional skills include proficiency with general office equipment and computers/software.

Mortgage Originator - Vermont Federal Credit Union (2/14)
Vermont Federal Credit Union is searching for a full-time Mortgage Originator; some hours may be in the evening or on weekends. Meetings may often be outside of the office, travel within Vermont is required. Responsibilities include reviewing information on mortgage loan documents to determine if buyer, property, and loan conditions meet Credit Union and governmental standards.  Evaluates acceptability of loan to buyers of real estate loans on secondary mortgage markets. Cross-sells other Credit Union products and services. Keeps informed of current trends in mortgage lending and market factors affecting mortgage lending, recommending changes to currently available products and services.

Marketing Communications Coordinator - Vermont Federal Credit Union (2/14)
This position will assist in advertising and sales promotions as well as oversight of marketing communication vehicles, such as the newsletter, portal and maintaining the web site.  This person will design all in-house materials and/or works with creative agency to concept major campaign initiatives and will ensure that the brand is maintained throughout all communications and the branch locations.  This candidate will also conduct market research and make recommendations for product/service modifications or improvements and promotional or media opportunities.  In addition, assist with marketing plan on an annual basis including strategy and budget, buy/schedule media on an ongoing basis, and promote the Credit Union to employees through regular promotional updates.

Requirements: A college degree and two to five years of similar or related experience.  Graphic Design experience with the Adobe Suite (In Design, Illustrator, Photoshop) is required. Web site CMS system experience and HTML a plus. Vehicle and valid driver’s license required for branch visits and events. Ability to lift, move and transport boxes weighing up to 50 pounds is required. Financial institution experience is preferred.
