Branch Manager I - NorthCountry Federal Credit Union (9/12)

Job Requirements: One year to three years of similar or related experience.  A two-year college degree or completion of a specialized course of study at a business or trade school or equivalent. Excellent typing and computer skills.  Direct the operations of our main credit union branch.  Ensure the branch meets organizational, financial, operational, service and growth plans. This individual will also be one of the branch's primary lenders.

Senior Teller (Essex Junction) - One Credit Union (8/29)
FULL TIME SENIOR TELLER wanted for our Essex Junction, VT branch location. Some work in other local branch in Vergennes, VT, may be required. The ideal candidate will have a minimum of (1) year TELLER experience; have prior cash handling experience, particularly strong in branch operations and customer service. Math and computer skills required. Strong oral and written communications. Ability to work branch hours. Strong TEAM player. Demonstrated organizational skills while managing multiple tasks. Well organized individual with time management and prioritization skills. The Senior TELLER reports to the Branch Manager and performs the duties of TELLER. Oversees daily TELLER functions and scheduling.

Human Resources Manager (Burlington) - Vermont Federal Credit Union (8/29)
Vermont Federal Credit Union is recruiting for a Human Resources Manager based out of our Burlington location.  This candidate will be responsible for consulting and advising with the VP of HR on various employee relation issues, assisting with policy interpretation and legal compliance with regard to hiring, FMLA, and other leaves, compensation and benefits, Employment and Wage & Hour law, and performance management. Additionally, this position will annually review and make recommendations to the VP of HR for improvement of Credit Union’s policies, procedures, and practices on HR matters. The candidate will also administer the organization’s compensation plan as well as administering the organization’s benefit programs. Advising employees on eligibility, maintaining and distributing plan documents. The qualified individual will develop and administer effective recruitment programs and is responsible for managing specified HR staff. 

Requirements:  A college degree and five to eight years of similar or related experience. SPHR or equivalent preferred. A significant level of trust and diplomacy is required, in addition to normal courtesy and tact. Other skills required are a generalist background in payroll, benefits, and personnel administration.

Collections Specialist - NorthCountry Federal Credit Union (8/15)

Consumer Loan Call Center Officer (Burlington) - Vermont Federal Credit Union (8/8)
Vermont Federal Credit Union is searching for a Consumer Loan Officer based out of the Burlington Loan Call Center.  The ideal candidate is able to work in a fast paced environment and has the ability to multi-task.  Responsibilities include interviewing member loan applicants over the phone and via web applications to develop information concerning their loan needs, earnings, and financial condition. Explains loan programs to members, evaluates their needs and recommends loan options. Keeps member informed of status of loan. Follows current loans to ensure compliance with terms and coordinates with collections when appropriate and keeps informed of current trends in consumer credit.  This candidate will analyze current financial position of members to determine the degree of risk involved in extending credit or lending money.  Makes decision to approve, disapprove, or forward the loan request to higher levels for decision.  In addition, Prepare and/or review and disburse all loans, checks documents for completeness, accuracy and overall quality. Recommends other Credit Union products and services as appropriate.
